The Plan comprises four key elements for consideration by our customers, stakeholders, Government and the Essential Services Commission:
- Outputs and obligations for delivery over the 4 year period;
- Efficient operating and capital costs required to deliver outputs;
- Aggregate revenues that are required; and
- Proposed prices for our customers over the 4 year period.
The 2007/08 Water Conservation Plan describes a number of programs to achieve water savings in the residential and non-residential sector and provides a summary of the performance of the programs implemented under our Water Conservation Plan. Water Conservation Report 2008 (590Kb)
The Water Supply-Demand Strategy 2006-2055 for Melbourne implements the Victorian Government's water supply and conservation requirements for Melbourne. In doing so it outlines environmentally sustainable, socially acceptable and cost-effective actions to save and source water for Melbourne, over the next 50 years.

The Drought Response Plan has a number of purposes including: identifying preliminary responses by South East Water to the possibility of water shortages, setting out the four stages of restrictions on the use of water and defining events which may lead to each stage of restriction being imposed. When restrictions are not in place, South East Water operates in accordance with a Permanent Water Saving Plan which sets out guidelines on the use of water in the area of South East Water's licence.
