Dr. Geraldine Gentle is the Director of Economics and Policy with URS Australia, a major environmental and engineering consultancy. She is a highly qualified economist, policy analyst and adviser, experienced with the Commonwealth, Victorian and governments. Her previous roles have included Assistant Commissioner with the Industries Assistance Commission and Productivity Commission and, most recently, Deputy Director-General of the Queensland Department of Natural Resource and Mines. Ms Gentle joined the Board on 1 September 2008. |

Dr. Judith Slocombe is a veterinary pathologist who developed her own business model for veterinary pathology in Australia, a business she sold to Gribbles Pathology where she was Veterinary Director until 2005. She is now CEO of the Allanah and Madeleine Foundation. Dr Slocombe also holds a variety of Board roles including Lort Smith Dogs Home and Agriculture Services Victoria. Dr. Slocombe joined the Board on 1 July 2008. |

Douglas Shirrefs is a barrister and economist who practices in commercial law with a particular interest in competition and regulatory law. Before commencing practice as a lawyer he held senior positions as a regulatory economist for both the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments. He has had extensive experience in public administration, in particular in economic regulation.
