This year South East Water have three very exciting competitions planned for National Water Week. Although National Water Week is still a long way away we’re giving teachers the heads up now so they can incorporate these activities into their water units throughout the year.

2009 National Water Week Competition Winners
Annual Poster Competition
The National Water Week Poster Competition is on again! Primary School students are asked to create a poster reflecting water related issues which are important to them.
Poster entries are invited in four categories:
1. Prep,
2. Years 1 & 2
3. Years 3 & 4
4. Years 5 & 6
There will be great prizes on offer including gift vouchers and the opportunity to work with an artist to turn students artwork into a mural for public display. Stay tuned for more details.
‘How Blue is Your School?’
We’re interested in knowing 'how blue your school' is, so we’re inviting all primary schools in the South East Water region to make a documentary about the water saving initiatives around your school, you can also include possible water saving initiatives your school may undertake in the future.
60 Seconds, One Tough Audience, Millions of Litres to Save
Australia is a multicultural country and South East Water needs to communicate their water saving messages to a diverse range of people so we’re asking for your help. Millions of Litres to Save is an ad competition for secondary schools in the South East Water Region.
