When seeking to increase water efficiency in your business operations, it helps to understand how you compare with industry benchmarks.

South East Water, City West Water and Yarra Valley Water have developed a report to help you understand how efficient you are with your water use.

The report provides a guide to how various industrial, institutional and commercial sectors use water.  We encourage you to use the report as a guide so that you may develop a benchmark for your own water use. 

There is no right or wrong benchmark, however if you calculate your own benchmark it can be an excellent tool that can act as a foundation for your water efficiency programs.  Your benchmark can then be used to establish future targets
