Participating in the showerhead exchange program

• Confirm compatibility of your hot water system before swapping – (water efficient showerheads are not suitable for low pressure, gravity fed (in the roof) and some instantaneous or continuous supply hot water systems. If you are unsure, contact your hot water manufacturer or local plumber).
• Bring your old showerhead/s and a recent South East Water bill to one of the kiosks or your nearest exchange location

Why you should exchange your showerhead!

• On average, showers use the single highest amount of water indoors (30%) (Inefficient showerheads use up to 20 litres per minute). 
•  There are three types to choose from - Interbath HiLo chrome, Interbath HiLo white & Rio Handheld.  They are all 9 litres per minute and will save you up to 20,000 litres of water per household per year!  This saves you water, energy and money.
•  You can exchange as many showerheads as you have fixtures in your home and you bring into exchange – one for one.
• You can do it yourself. You don’t need a plumber and you do not need to turn off your mains water supply – only the taps.
• IT’S FREE!  You will not be charged when you exchange your showerhead or in the future. It is a free exchange program.  South East Water collects information only to monitor the success of the program.
